The North Gus Thomasson Road Corridor Study Public Open House explored ideas related to the future of the Corridor area!

Held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mesquite Elks Lodge, the Public Open House was a come-and-go style event that was advertised through direct mail postcards, flyers, and social media posts on Facebook and LinkedIn.
Additionally, for each of the four sub-areas, one potential catalyst project was shared for feedback. The Public Open House provided opportunities to share additional thoughts on the Corridor and included two creative exercises where attendees could design a festival or park that could someday be located within the Corridor area.
